Catherine Lunio a Filipina humanitarian leader, born and raised in Bukidnon, Mindanao, Philippines. Growing up in a poor family within a marginalized community shaped her deep understanding of hardship, resilience, and the urgent need for sustainable solutions for vulnerable populations. These early life experiences continue to ground her commitment to service and social impact.
Catherine currently serve as the Regional Humanitarian Coordinator for Asia with Humanity-X, which include China, Philippines and Thailand. She is a renowned global humanitarian organization dedicated to advancing sustainable humanity projects worldwide. As the RHC of Asia her role focuses on coordinating regional initiatives, strengthening community partnerships, and supporting programs that empower impoverished and underserved communities toward long-term self-reliance.
As a member of Humanity-X she is driven by a passion to help transform communities facing poverty by creating sustainable, people-centered solutions that restore dignity, opportunity, and hope. Through Humanity-X she says," I work to ensure that humanitarian action goes beyond short-term relief and contributes to lasting development for communities across the Philippines, Asia, and globally".
